Disneyland. The very word says "southern California," doesn't it? So when you live here, you usually end up making at least an annual pilgrimage to "The Happiest Place On Earth®™©." Ours was in March this year (taking advantage of the "locals discount"). Here are a few of our memories:
Well, who was there to greet us as we walked down Main St.? Tigger, of course (the only one!).

Kids, take a lesson: do not trust Mom to cross the fountain at the right moment. However, if she has you by the hand, and the ratio of mass is substantially on her side, there's nothing you can do but get wet. Which Joe did. A lot. (Mom was still getting scolded three rides later.)

 Three hooligans in the hoosegow.
Where's Waldo? Or more appropriately, where are Lori, Jamie and Joe? Hint: they're wearing the same clothes as in the picture to the left.
Time passes, fashions come and go, fads fade away...but the Teacups will live forever! (I remember riding on them—and getting sick on them—when I was Joe's age.)
Ah, the "new" tradition: a parade as the park closes. Ever since they got rid of the Main Street Electrical Parade (whose theme song made the pop charts, if you can believe that!), the Disney folks have tried one theme after another. This year it seemed to be "All the Disney Characters There Have Ever Been, In No Particular Order." Undoubtedly we'll have another theme next year. (Remaining parade pictures presented without further commercial interruption.)
